Taming your Fear

- Recognize and admit your fear. You can't deal with the problem if you don't think you have one!
- Be willing to try to overcome it.
- Be open and ready to work with others who can help you.
- Practice facing the situation that causes your fear.
- Prepare for the panic that accompanies fear, and learn to tolerate the distress until it subsides.
- If you reach a point where you feel no progress is being made, don't give up. Hang in there and wait for the breakthrough.
- Reinforce your achievements by repetition, and remind yourself of your progress.
